Safari joined us in November 2021 after five consecutive years of asking his breeder, Keith Hughes, if we could lease him.

Safari is truly 'bred in the purple', being by the famous stallion Penual Mark, and out of the multi Royal Welsh winner, HOYS in hand and ridden finalist & International Show Champion Brynodyn Scarlet.

 

The 'S' family has been very successful for Keith, with Scarlet also being dam of Royal Welsh winning Brynodyn Savannah, by Heniarth Quinnell and HOYS winner Brynodyn Sirius.

Safari, although not having sired lots of foals in his lifetime, has been a consistent sire of quality foals including yearling Brynodyn Symphony-Ann (Royal Welsh Winter Fair Reserve Champion 2021), Hoekhorst Empire (Champion Stallion), Cefyngorwydd Sioni (HOYS finalist) and Kaydrith Siesta for us previously who is now at Glebedale Stud as a broodmare.
